Sketch a route while reading German directions

The idea

Draw a simple street with a bridge and a pharmacy. Follow the six example instructions in order. Number each movement and place a marker at the destination. Then describe the return route with fresh German sentences.

  Nach links expresses direction; bis zur Brücke names the endpoint with bis zu plus dative.

Watch out

Do not reverse left and right merely because you look at the map from another side. Keep the traveller's direction of movement clear at each turn.
