Read three example messages aloud or use a device voice. Write the number and its label, then formulate a confirmation question. Ask for individual digits when a code or phone number remains unclear; do not apply ordinary counting patterns to every identifier.

  Euro is the currency unit; Uhr belongs to a clock time and does not belong in this price question.

Watch out

Repeating only the number can leave the misunderstanding intact. Include the object and unit in your confirmation, especially with similar-sounding numbers.

   The last example supplies a sentence pattern, not a single compulsory answer. Change a detail that fits the situation and keep the verb, case and meaning consistent.

Use it today

Repeat the sequence with a fresh situation. To practise German numbers, attach each number to a purpose such as a room, price or appointment. Repeat it back with its unit. A correct string of digits is not useful if you confuse euros with minutes or a room number with a floor. Keep one first attempt and one correction so you can compare what you produced before seeing a model.
