Später erklärte mir ein Anwohner, dass ich den ersten Schlag doppelt gehört hatte, weil er zwischen den Häusern widerhallte. Die Uhr selbst ging richtig, nur meine Zählung war falsch gewesen. Seitdem verlasse ich mich für einen knappen Termin lieber auf eine direkt ablesbare Zeit.
