The idea
“Sich beziehen auf” takes the accusative: auf unsere Ortszeit. In a question the reflexive sich follows the verb and comes before the subject if the subject is a noun. Hinterlegt sein means stored in a system, common in IT German. Erscheinen means to appear on screen. Deshalb links cause and effect and sends the verb before the subject. Ausdrücklich bestätigen means to confirm explicitly.
Other ways to say it
“Ist das 15 Uhr deutscher Zeit?” – Neutral and quick; names the time zone directly.
“In welcher Zeitzone ist der Termin angelegt?” – Neutral; anlegen means to create an entry in a calendar.
“Bei mir steht 9 Uhr, ist das richtig?” – Informal; reports what you see and asks for confirmation.
Examples
- Bezieht sich die Einladung auf unsere Ortszeit?Does the invitation use our local time?
- Im Termin ist eine andere Zeitzone hinterlegt.Another time zone is stored in the appointment.
- Bei mir erscheint deshalb eine andere Uhrzeit. That is why a different time appears for me.
- Vergleichen wir Datum und Zeitzone zusammen.Let us compare the date and time zone together.
- Ich möchte die Einladung nicht manuell falsch ändern.I do not want to change the invitation incorrectly by hand.
- Dann bestätigen wir den gemeinsamen Zeitpunkt ausdrücklich. Then let us explicitly confirm the shared time.

Watch out
“Bezieht die Einladung sich auf unsere Ortszeit?” → “Bezieht sich die Einladung auf unsere Ortszeit?”: An unstressed reflexive pronoun usually comes right after the finite verb, before a noun subject. Learners place sich after the subject because English has no reflexive here.
Try it yourself
Translate into German: Does the invitation use our local time?
Show answer or example answer
Bezieht sich die Einladung auf unsere Ortszeit?
Yes-no question with the verb first, then the reflexive sich, then the subject die Einladung. Auf takes the accusative unsere Ortszeit.
Put the words in order: andere / Bei / deshalb / eine / erscheint / mir / Uhrzeit
Show answer or example answer
Bei mir erscheint deshalb eine andere Uhrzeit.
Bei mir (on my screen) opens the sentence, erscheint comes second, and deshalb links it to the stored time zone; eine andere Uhrzeit is the subject.
Write this sentence in German: Then let us explicitly confirm the shared time.

Dann bestätigen wir den gemeinsamen Zeitpunkt ausdrücklich.
Dann plus wir plus present tense makes a joint plan. “Den gemeinsamen Zeitpunkt” is accusative masculine, and ausdrücklich means explicitly.
