The idea
Wo asks for a location and pairs with liegen or sich befinden; wohin asks for a direction and pairs with legen or ablegen. Digital files also “liegen” in a folder. “Die aktuelle Liste der Besuchstermine” uses the genitive plural der. “Gibt es …?” takes the accusative. Nachfragen (to ask back, follow up) is separable: “Fragen Sie … nach”. A Gültigkeitsvermerk is a note saying from when, or until when, a document applies.
Other ways to say it
“Wo finde ich die aktuelle Besuchsliste?” – Neutral and very common; asks from your own perspective.
“In welchem Ordner ist die Liste abgelegt?” – Specific to shared drives; ablegen means to file.
“Welche Fassung ist zurzeit gültig?” – Follow-up question when more than one version exists.

Watch out
“Wohin liegt die aktuelle Liste?” → “Wo liegt die aktuelle Liste?”: Liegen describes where something is, so the question word is wo. Wohin is only for movement, as in “Wohin soll ich die Liste legen?”
