The idea
Sich verspäten is reflexive: die Lieferung verspätet sich. The size of the delay follows um plus accusative: um eine Stunde, um zwanzig Minuten. Hedging words separate forecasts from facts: voraussichtlich (expected), ungefähr (about), laut Fahrer (according to the driver). A noun-based alternative is “eine Verspätung von einer Stunde”, with von plus dative. In written updates, many teams give both the estimate and when the next confirmation is due.
Other ways to say it
“Der Lkw kommt voraussichtlich erst gegen elf Uhr.” – Neutral; gives the new time instead of the length of the delay.
“Laut Fahrer gibt es eine Verzögerung von etwa einer Stunde.” – Names the source up front; typical in a chat update.
“Die Anlieferung verzögert sich, eine genaue Zeit steht noch nicht fest.” – More formal; useful when no estimate is available yet.

Watch out
“Die Lieferung verspätet um eine Stunde.” → “Die Lieferung verspätet sich um eine Stunde.”: Verspäten is used reflexively here, so without sich the sentence is incomplete. English “is delayed” or “runs late” has no reflexive pronoun, so learners leave it out.
