The idea
Wie viele plus plural noun asks for a number of countable things. Mitnehmen is separable; its participle is mitgenommen. Das Teil (here: an item of clothing) and das Stück are both used for counting. Bisher means so far. The passive “wird gerade noch anprobiert” describes an ongoing process. “Warten auf” takes the accusative. Erst danach means not before then.
Other ways to say it
“Mit wie vielen Teilen ist sie reingegangen?” – Informal; reingehen is spoken for hineingehen.
“Darf ich Ihnen eine Nummer für die Umkleide geben?” – Polite with Sie; to the customer before she goes in.
“Ein Teil fehlt noch, das hat sie wohl noch an.” – Informal; wohl marks an assumption.
Examples
- Wie viele Teile hat die Kundin mitgenommen? How many items did the customer take in?

Watch out
“Wie viel Teile hat die Kundin mitgenommen?” → “Wie viele Teile hat die Kundin mitgenommen?”: With plural countable nouns, standard German uses wie viele. Wie viel goes with uncountable nouns (wie viel Zeit). Learners often use wie viel for everything because it is the more frequent form.
