The idea
Clothes sizes use in Größe plus the number, written out or as a figure. Die Hose, die Jeans and die Brille are singular where English uses plural. Short answers repeat only the new facts: “dunkelgrau und normale Länge”. Colour compounds like dunkelgrau are written as one word. “Jemandem Rückmeldung geben” means to report back; gleich means shortly. Colleagues on the shop floor often use du.
Other ways to say it
“Haben wir die noch in 38?” – Informal and quick; typical shop-floor question.
“Schaust du bitte mal hinten nach einer 38?” – Informal; hinten means the stockroom.
“Ich sehe kurz im Lager nach, ob wir Ihre Größe haben.” – Polite with Sie; what you say to the customer.

Watch out
“Kannst du diese Hosen in Größe achtunddreißig prüfen?” → “Kannst du diese Hose in Größe achtunddreißig prüfen?”: One pair of trousers is eine Hose. The plural Hosen means several pairs, so the colleague would look for more than one. English trousers causes the error.
