The idea
Übernehmen means to take on a task: “Das übernehme ich.” Placing the object first (“Die Kopien übernehme ich”) contrasts it with other tasks. “Etwas als erledigt betrachten” or “einplanen” are the German equivalents of “consider it done”. “Sich um etwas kümmern” takes um + accusative: um die Mappen. “Bereitlegen” is separable: ich lege dir die Kopien bereit.

Watch out
“Die Kopien ich übernehme.” → “Die Kopien übernehme ich.”: When the object starts a German main clause, the finite verb must still come second, so the subject ich moves after it.
