The idea

“An jemandem vorbeigehen” takes an + dative: an Ihnen, an dir. Vorbeigehen is separable, but after the modal dürfte it stays whole at the end. “An jemandem vorbeikommen” means to manage to get past. In everyday speech the movement verb is often dropped: “Darf ich mal vorbei?”. The reply “Ich trete zur Seite” uses treten for a step.

Other ways to say it

“Entschuldigung, ich müsste hier mal durch.” – Neutral; useful in a crowded doorway or aisle.

“Könnten Sie bitte kurz Platz machen?” – Formal; asks the other person to make room.
