The idea

Täglich (daily) is an adjective here: die täglichen Zeiten. Der Einsatzplan is the schedule showing when and where someone works. Abweichungen (deviations) and abweichen von are common in scheduling talk. “Anhand” plus genitive means on the basis of: anhand des Einsatzplans. Die Anfahrt is the journey to work. Interns’ hours depend on the company and the type of internship, so confirming them in writing is sensible.

Other ways to say it

“Von wann bis wann arbeite ich im Praktikum?” – Simple everyday question with von … bis.

“Sind die Arbeitszeiten jeden Tag gleich?” – Checks for variation between days.

“Könnten Sie mir den Zeitplan bitte schriftlich schicken?” – Polite request for written confirmation.

Watch out

“Welche tägliche Zeiten sind für das Praktikum vorgesehen?” → “Welche täglichen Zeiten sind für das Praktikum vorgesehen?”: After welche the adjective takes the weak ending, so the plural is täglichen, as after die. Learners use -e because there is no definite article.

  2. Put the words in order: Abweichungen / an / einzelnen / es / Gibt / Tagen

    Show answer or example answer

Gibt es an einzelnen Tagen Abweichungen?

Yes/no question with “Gibt es” plus accusative “Abweichungen”. “An einzelnen Tagen” is dative plural after an.
