The idea
Ask for the owner with wer plus übernehmen, for the deadline with “bis wann”. Bis plus a time gives the latest point: bis morgen Mittag. Der Lieferant belongs to the n-declension, so it becomes den Lieferanten after an. “Direkt nachdem deine Rückmeldung vorliegt” ties one deadline to another event; nachdem sends the verb to the end. Damit in the closing sentence means “with that”, summing up what has been agreed.
Other ways to say it
“Wer kümmert sich um die Antwort an den Lieferanten?” – Neutral; sich kümmern um is very common for taking care of something.
“Halten wir fest: Ali schreibt dem Lieferanten bis morgen.” – Neutral, typical for a meeting chair summarising.
“Wer macht das, und bis wann?” – Informal and quick; fine among close colleagues.
Examples
- Wer übernimmt die Rückmeldung an den Lieferanten?Who will handle the response to the supplier?
- Das übernehme ich bis morgen Mittag.I will handle that by midday tomorrow.
- Dann dokumentiere ich die vereinbarte Änderung. Then I will document the agreed change.
- Bis wann aktualisierst du die Übersicht?By when will you update the overview?
- Direkt nachdem deine Rückmeldung vorliegt. As soon as your response is available.
- Gut, damit sind Reihenfolge und Zuständigkeit klar.Good; that clarifies the sequence and responsibility.

Watch out
“Wer übernimmt die Rückmeldung an den Lieferant?” → “Wer übernimmt die Rückmeldung an den Lieferanten?”: Lieferant is a weak masculine noun and adds -en in every case except the nominative singular. Learners often drop the ending because most nouns do not change.
Try it yourself
Translate into German: Who will handle the response to the supplier?
Show answer or example answer
Wer übernimmt die Rückmeldung an den Lieferanten?
Wer is the subject and opens the question; übernimmt agrees with it. The accusative object is “die Rückmeldung”, and “an den Lieferanten” names the recipient.
Put the words in order: Änderung / Dann / die / dokumentiere / ich / vereinbarte
Show answer or example answer
Dann dokumentiere ich die vereinbarte Änderung.
Dann opens the clause, so the verb dokumentiere stays second. “Die vereinbarte Änderung” uses the participle vereinbart (agreed) as an adjective.
Write this sentence in German: Good; that clarifies the sequence and responsibility.
Show answer or example answer
Gut, damit sind Reihenfolge und Zuständigkeit klar.
Gut closes the discussion; damit refers to what was just agreed. Two subjects without articles, Reihenfolge und Zuständigkeit, take the plural verb sind.
