The idea
Welche davon asks for one item from a known group; davon replaces “von den Aufgaben”. Priorities are expressed with adverbs of order: zuerst, danach, nach hinten. “Etwas nach hinten verschieben” means to postpone, and entsprechend means accordingly. “Jemandem etwas durchgeben” (separable) means to pass information on, often by phone or message: “Geben Sie den Betroffenen … durch.” Die Betroffenen, the people affected, is an adjective used as a noun and stands in the dative plural here.
Other ways to say it
“Was hat heute Vorrang?” – Short and neutral; Vorrang haben means to take priority.
“Woran hängen die anderen gerade?” – Informal; asks which task other people are waiting for.
“Die Auswertung stelle ich bis morgen zurück.” – Neutral; zurückstellen means to put something on hold.
Examples
- Beide Aufgaben sind für heute vorgesehen. Both tasks are scheduled for today.
- Welche davon blockiert andere Kollegen?Which one is blocking other colleagues?
- Ohne die Liste kann der Versand nicht anfangen.Dispatch cannot start without the list.
- Dann erledigen Sie bitte zuerst die Liste. Then please complete the list first.
- Die Auswertung verschiebe ich entsprechend nach hinten.I will move the analysis back accordingly.
- Geben Sie den Betroffenen kurz die neue Reihenfolge durch.Briefly tell those affected the new order.

Watch out
“Welche von ihnen blockiert andere Kollegen?” → “Welche davon blockiert andere Kollegen?”: For things rather than people, German normally uses a da-compound instead of a preposition plus pronoun. “Von ihnen” sounds as if you meant people; davon refers neatly to the tasks.

Translate into German: Both tasks are scheduled for today.
Show answer or example answer
Beide Aufgaben sind für heute vorgesehen.
“Für heute vorgesehen” means planned for today; vorgesehen is a participle used like an adjective after sind, and beide agrees with the plural Aufgaben.
Put the words in order: anfangen / der / die / kann / Liste / nicht / Ohne / Versand
Show answer or example answer
Ohne die Liste kann der Versand nicht anfangen.
“Ohne die Liste” takes the accusative and fills position one, so the modal kann comes second and anfangen closes the sentence.
Write this sentence in German: Briefly tell those affected the new order.
Show answer or example answer
Geben Sie den Betroffenen kurz die neue Reihenfolge durch.
Imperative with Sie and the separable verb durchgeben: geben comes first, durch goes to the end. Den Betroffenen is dative plural, die neue Reihenfolge the accusative object.
