The idea

Ankommen is a verb of movement and forms its perfect with sein: “ist … angekommen”. Bestellt is a participle used as an adjective: meine bestellte Packung. “Unter welchem Namen” is the fixed way to ask the name on an order or booking, with unter + dative. “Wurde … bestellt” is the past passive. Der Abholzeitpunkt is when you can collect it; abholen means to pick up.

Other ways to say it

“Ist meine Bestellung schon da?” – Short and casual; very common on the phone.

“Ab wann kann ich die Bestellung abholen?” – Neutral; asks for the earliest collection time.

Watch out

“Hat meine bestellte Packung bereits angekommen?” → “Ist meine bestellte Packung bereits angekommen?”: Ankommen describes arriving, a change of place, so the perfect uses sein, not haben. English “has arrived” misleads learners.

Try it yourself

  1. Translate into German: Has the pack I ordered arrived yet?

    Show answer or example answer

Ist meine bestellte Packung bereits angekommen?

Perfect with sein: “Ist … angekommen”; “bereits” means already, and “meine bestellte Packung” uses the participle as adjective.

  2. Put the words in order: am / gestern / Nachmittag / Novak / späten / Unter

    Show answer or example answer

Unter Novak, gestern am späten Nachmittag.

A short answer: the name after unter, then the time “gestern am späten Nachmittag” with adjective -en after am.

  3. Write this sentence in German: I will only tell you the confirmed status.

    Show answer or example answer

Ich nenne Ihnen nur den bestätigten Stand.

“Nur” limits the answer; “den bestätigten Stand” is accusative, meaning the status that is certain, not a guess.
