The idea
Wird … gebraucht is present passive: werden + participle. It avoids naming who needs the help. Von … bis … gives a time span. Übernehmen (to take on) is inseparable in this meaning: ich übernehme. Ablösen (to relieve someone on duty) is separable: Wer löst Sie ab? Die Schicht is a shift, die Übergabe the handover. Eintragen means to note something on a list.
Other ways to say it
“Ich kann gern eine Stunde am Kuchenstand helfen.” – Friendly, concrete offer naming a stall and a duration.
“Wo fehlen noch Leute?” – Informal, quick question among other parents.

Watch out
“Wo wird beim Schulfest noch Hilfe brauchen?” → “Wo wird beim Schulfest noch Hilfe gebraucht?”: The passive needs werden plus the past participle. With the infinitive brauchen, wird turns into a future tense that has no subject to do the needing.
