The idea
The past passive is wurde + participle: wurde ausgewählt, wurde bestellt. It focuses on what happened, not who did it. Gemeint war … is a compact way to say what was intended. Ob introduces an indirect yes/no question with the verb at the end: ob die Bestellung noch geändert werden kann. Betreffen (to concern) takes a direct accusative object: betrifft den Mittwoch.

Watch out
“Dann betrifft die Anfrage nur dem Mittwoch.” → “Dann betrifft die Anfrage nur den Mittwoch.”: Betreffen takes an accusative object, so der Mittwoch becomes den Mittwoch. Learners often choose the dative because the English “concerns” feels like it needs “to”.
