The idea

Adjectives in -bar express possibility: erreichbar, zugänglich. Ohne takes the accusative, often without an article: ohne Stufen, ohne Treppe. Barrierefrei is the general term for accessible. Benötigen is formal for brauchen. Der Zugang is masculine: einen Zugang. Weitergeben (to pass on) is separable.

Other ways to say it

“Ist das Gebäude barrierefrei?” – A general question about step-free accessibility.

“Gibt es einen Aufzug zum Terminraum?” – Asks specifically about a lift.

Watch out

“Ich benötige ein Zugang ohne Treppe.” → “Ich benötige einen Zugang ohne Treppe.”: Zugang is masculine (der Zugang), and as the object of benötigen it is accusative, so the article must be einen.
