The idea
German has two plurals of das Wort: Worte for connected speech and expressions (in einfachen Worten), Wörter for individual words (ein Satz mit zehn Wörtern). Einfacheren is the comparative with a dative plural ending. After verstehe nicht, wer … soll is an indirect question with the verb last. Durchgehen (to go through) is separable.
Other ways to say it
“Was bedeutet dieser Satz genau für mich?” – Asks about the practical meaning for you.

“Könnten Sie diesen Satz in einfacheren Wörtern erklären?” → “Könnten Sie diesen Satz in einfacheren Worten erklären?”: Wörter counts separate words, while Worte refers to wording or expression. Asking for a simpler formulation therefore uses the fixed phrase in einfachen Worten.
