Work through the German examples, attempt the exercises before opening the answers, and use the method in your own learning.

The idea
Choose a small prompt, record a short answer and listen once for a specific feature. Repeat the message with that feature improved, then answer a new follow-up question. This prepares speech production; interaction with another person is still needed to practise unpredictable turn-taking.
Examples
- Ich beschreibe einen Gegenstand auf meinem Tisch.
- Zuerst spreche ich eine halbe Minute.
- Dann höre ich meine Aufnahme an.
- Ich prüfe nur einen Schwerpunkt.
- Ich spreche denselben Inhalt erneut.
- Zum Schluss beantworte ich eine unerwartete Frage.
Read-aloud uses a synthetic German voice available on your device. Voice quality and availability vary; it does not assess your pronunciation.
No German device voice is available. You can still read the text and use the linked listening resources.
Watch out
Do not stop after every word to repair all mistakes. Choose one focus for the next attempt.
Try it yourself
Sprechen Sie über eine Tasse mit Farbe und Ort.
Show answer or example answer
Die blaue Tasse steht auf meinem Tisch.
The model includes both the requested colour and the location of the cup.
Sie hören viele Fehler. Was ist für den nächsten Versuch sinnvoll: einen Schwerpunkt wählen oder jeden Satz unterbrechen?
Show answer or example answer
Einen Schwerpunkt wählen.
One focus gives the second attempt a clear purpose without continual interruption.
Welche Frage prüft spontanes Reagieren? (Warum benutzen Sie die Tasse? / Lesen Sie denselben Text.)
Show answer or example answer
Warum benutzen Sie die Tasse?
A why-question requires a new explanation rather than rereading the same text.
