The idea
A complaint to a shop uses Sie, and the Betreff should carry the order number. Begin with a neutral statement: “weicht von meiner Bestellung ab” (abweichen von: to differ from). Contrast the two versions in parallel sentences: “Bestellt war …” and “Das erhaltene Modell besitzt …”. Mention your own check in the perfect. Ask openly with “Bitte erklären Sie mir, wie …” instead of demanding a specific solution. Offer evidence: “kann ich bei Bedarf nachreichen”.
Other ways to say it
“Ich habe leider ein anderes Modell erhalten als bestellt.” – Neutral and clear; “als bestellt” is short for “als ich bestellt habe”.
“Ich möchte den Rucksack gegen die bestellte Ausführung umtauschen.” – Formal; asks directly for an exchange.

Watch out
“Der gelieferte Rucksack weicht von meiner Bestellung.” → “Der gelieferte Rucksack weicht von meiner Bestellung ab.”: Abweichen is separable. Without “ab” at the end, weichen alone means to give way or move aside.
