The idea
An advice centre is addressed with Sie. Start with the purpose, then describe your level honestly with a limiter such as “noch nicht sicher”. The question uses an extended participle phrase: “eine von mir mitgebrachte Person” (a person brought by me). “Gegebenenfalls” (if applicable, abbreviated ggf.) is common in formal German. “Die Unterstützung abstimmen” means to agree on it in advance. Close with “Vielen Dank für Ihre … Rückmeldung”.
Other ways to say it
“Darf ich eine Person zum Dolmetschen mitbringen?” – Neutral and direct; “dolmetschen” is interpreting spoken language.
“Wäre es möglich, langsamer und mit einfachen Worten zu sprechen?” – Polite Konjunktiv II request for simpler language.

Watch out
“Kann eine Person, die ich mitbringe, beim Verstehen helfen mir?” → “Kann eine Person, die ich mitbringe, mir beim Verstehen helfen?”: In a question with a modal, the infinitive goes to the very end. The pronoun “mir” moves forward into the middle field.
