The idea

Write politely with Sie; “Guten Tag” or “Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren” both work for a restaurant. Mention the booking name and date in the Betreff or first line. “Mit + dative plural” adds the -n: mit Erwachsenen, mit Kindern. “Ebenfalls” (as well) adds the pushchair. Ask with “Bitte prüfen Sie, ob …”. The inverted conditional “Sollte … nötig sein, …” is formal and replaces falls. Close with “Wir freuen uns auf Ihre Bestätigung”.

Other ways to say it

“Bitte ändern Sie unsere Reservierung auf neun Personen.” – Neutral and direct; “ändern auf” gives the new number.

“Hätten Sie für uns zwei Kinderstühle?” – Polite Konjunktiv II question for an extra need.

Watch out

“Wir kommen mit sieben Erwachsene und zwei Kinder.” → “Wir kommen mit sieben Erwachsenen und zwei Kindern.”: Mit always takes the dative, and dative plural nouns add -n unless they already end in -n or -s.

Zu unserer Gruppenreservierung möchte ich die Personenzahl ergänzen.

“Zu unserer Gruppenreservierung” is dative after zu and names the topic; “möchte” is second. “Ergänzen” means to add missing information.

  2. Put the words in order: ebenfalls / Ein / Kinderwagen / mitgebracht / wird

    Ein Kinderwagen wird ebenfalls mitgebracht.

The passive “wird … mitgebracht” focuses on the pushchair, not on who brings it. “Ebenfalls” means as well.
