The idea

Thank, report, check, separate, select, announce. Thanks come first and refer to concrete contributions (Beiträge), not just attendance. The Perfekt “habe … geordnet” reports your follow-up work. The check request uses an ihr imperative with a deadline (bis Montag) and an ob-clause. Keeping unclear ideas in a separate section (“in einem eigenen Abschnitt”) shows nothing was dropped. Abstimmung can mean both a vote and a coordination talk; the context decides.

Other ways to say it

“Danke euch allen für die vielen guten Ideen heute!” – Warm and informal; suits a du team after a lively session.

“Anbei erhalten Sie die geordnete Ideensammlung aus dem Workshop.” – Formal Sie version, for external participants.

Watch out

“Vielen Dank für die Beiträge in heutigen Workshop.” → “Vielen Dank für die Beiträge im heutigen Workshop.”: In + dative masculine needs an article: in dem, contracted to im. Dropping it leaves the adjective without a case marker that fits, so the phrase sounds broken.

Try it yourself

  1. Translate into German: Thank you for your contributions in today’s workshop.

    Show answer or example answer

Vielen Dank für die Beiträge im heutigen Workshop.

“Vielen Dank für” takes the accusative “die Beiträge”. “Im heutigen Workshop” is in + dative with the contraction im, and heutigen ends in -en after it.

  2. Put the words in order: bis / Bitte / enthalten / eure / Montag / ob / prüft / Punkte / sind / wichtigsten

    Show answer or example answer

Bitte prüft bis Montag, ob eure wichtigsten Punkte enthalten sind.

“Prüft” is the ihr imperative. The ob-clause asks a yes/no question and ends with “enthalten sind”. “Eure wichtigsten Punkte” uses the superlative with -en after the possessive.

  3. Write this sentence in German: A brief discussion will follow for that after your feedback.

Dafür folgt nach eurer Rückmeldung eine kurze Abstimmung.

“Dafür” points to choosing the two ideas. The verb “folgt” is second, and the subject “eine kurze Abstimmung” comes last, which builds up to the announcement.
