The idea

Read the questions first and listen for the kind of information each needs. Read the transcript aloud or use your device voice, then connect each answer to the words around it. いいえ signals that the following phrase corrects the suggestion.

• 明日あした、駅えきで会あいましょう。Let’s meet at the station tomorrow.
• 時間じかんは三時さんじですか。Is the time three o’clock?
• いいえ、四時よじです。No, it is four o’clock.
• 駅えきの前まえですか。Is it in front of the station?
• いいえ、駅えきの中なかです。No, it is inside the station.
• 赤あかいかばんを持もっていきます。I will bring a red bag.

Watch out

Do not select the first time or place you hear: a question can propose an answer that the speaker rejects. This is original practice, not an official JLPT question.
