The idea

Start by checking your N5 foundations: kana, basic particles, polite forms and short texts. Next build plain forms and combinations such as たら and たり in complete sentences. Each week read a short passage, listen to suitable material, recall vocabulary and revisit errors. Try official N4 sample questions to identify task types, then change the plan according to your results. Allow more or less time as needed.

Watch out

N4 is a broad ability description, not an official checklist of grammar or vocabulary. A schedule cannot guarantee a pass; JLPT does not directly test speaking or writing.
