For godan verbs change the final vowel to the e-row and add ば: 飲む → 飲めば. Ichidan 食べる → 食べれば; する → すれば, 来る → 来れば; 安い → 安ければ. Nouns and な-adjectives use なら or ならば.

Examples

Watch out
When the same person performs an action first and then makes a request or intention, たら is often more natural; ば can still precede such clauses with states such as 暇なら.
