Name activities such as study, sport and chores. The examples use polite speech in everyday situations.

The idea

This verb is irregular: する becomes します, しません, しました and して. Use を with a sport or an activity noun; with study, both べんきょうをします and べんきょうします are possible. Here ています describes an action in progress, while ませんか makes a polite invitation.

Watch out

Do not attach ます directly to する: use します. Activity nouns can combine directly with する, while a marked object takes を.
