各 means each, treating members of a group individually. Meet it in useful words and sentences.

The idea

各 has six strokes and is usually read かく before a noun, as in 各自(かくじ) and 各人(かくじん). In 各国(かっこく), the sound changes to かっ; learn the whole word.

Watch out

各 focuses on individual members; 全 means the whole group. 各日 refers to each day of a defined event, not necessarily every day in general.
