The idea
Use the full name when identifying a region: Ege Bölgesi means the Aegean Region, while Ege Denizi names the sea. İç Anadolu is Central Anatolia, Doğu Anadolu Eastern Anatolia and Güneydoğu Anadolu Southeastern Anatolia. Keep capitals in the full names. For location, learn the phrase Karadeniz Bölgesi'nde: in the Black Sea Region.

Watch out
Do not translate Karadeniz as a region automatically: on its own it can name the Black Sea, and context may also make it a regional shorthand. Use Karadeniz Bölgesi for clarity. Tea fields are a useful association, but not every part of that region grows tea.
