You will build a B2 opinion essay around an imagined neighbourhood library. The examples form a short model: they propose an arrangement, illustrate its value and address a competing need. They do not report research about a real library.
The idea
For this workshop, plan an introduction, supporting paragraphs and a conclusion. State a position that a reader could question, not just the topic you will discuss. Develop each main reason with a concrete example and explain how it supports your position. Include a plausible objection and respond to it before closing. The conclusion should draw together your reasoning and keep the same scope. These are writing choices for this task, not a fixed paragraph count. The model uses olabilir and sağlayabilir for possible benefits; it does not claim that they are certain.

Examples
- Bence kütüphanede sessiz bir bölüm olmalı.I think there should be a quiet section in the library.
- Bu bölüm özellikle öğrenciler için yararlı olabilir. This section could be useful especially for students.
- Bazı okurlar burada grup çalışması yapmak isteyebilir. Some readers may want to do group work here.
- Çünkü evde herkesin ayrı bir çalışma odası yoktur.Because not everyone has a separate study room at home.
- Örneğin, kalabalık bir evde yaşayan bir öğrenci burada rahatça çalışabilir. For example, a student living in a crowded home could study comfortably here.
- Ancak grup çalışmaları için başka bir alan ayrılabilir. However, another area could be set aside for group work.
- Bu nedenle kütüphanenin tamamı yerine bir bölümünü sessiz çalışmaya ayırmayı öneriyorum. Therefore, I suggest setting aside one section of the library for quiet study rather than the whole library.
- Ayrıca bu düzenleme, farklı ihtiyaçları olan okurların aynı kütüphaneden yararlanmasını sağlayabilir. In addition, this arrangement could allow readers with different needs to benefit from the same library.

Watch out
An objection can quietly turn into your final position if you leave it unanswered. Here, wanting to work in groups does not automatically defeat the quiet-section proposal: a separate area answers that need. Also, bir bölümünü limits the proposal to one section. Switching to tamamını at the end would expand it without supporting reasons.
Try it yourself
Choose the statement to defend in the introduction: A announces the topic; B proposes a quiet section. Write A or B.
Show answer or example answer
B
B: Kütüphanede sessiz bir bölüm olmalı. proposes a change that a reader can accept or challenge. Sentence A only announces what the writer will discuss; it gives no position to defend.
Not everyone has a separate study room at home. Is this sentence a reason or a conclusion? Choose the Turkish label.
Show answer or example answer
gerekçe
gerekçe: lacking a separate room at home explains a need that the proposed section could meet. It supports the proposal rather than drawing a final conclusion from earlier paragraphs.
Another area could be set aside for group work. Does this respond to the objection or introduce a new topic? Choose the Turkish label.
Show answer or example answer
itiraza yanıt
itiraza yanıt: a separate area offers group workers an option while retaining the quiet section. The sentence responds to their competing need instead of abandoning the original proposal.
Limit the concluding proposal to what the reasons support: set aside the entire library or one section? Write the appropriate Turkish phrase.
Show answer or example answer
bir bölümünü
bir bölümünü: the argument gives a place to both quiet study and group work. Making the whole library silent would remove that balance, so tamamını goes beyond what was justified.

Write 160–190 Turkish words about the imagined library. State your position, develop two reasons and illustrate one with an explicitly hypothetical example. Include a credible objection and your response. End with a proposal supported by your paragraphs. Do not invent survey figures. Underline your position and check that the conclusion does not broaden it.
