Leo wird am Freitag zwanzig Jahre alt. Er schreibt eine Einladung an seine Freunde: „Kommt am Freitag um sechs Uhr zu mir. Wir essen Pizza. Bitte bringt keine Geschenke mit.“ Seine Freundin Eva liest die Nachricht im Bus. Sie notiert nur „Freitag, sechs Uhr“.

Am Freitagmorgen klingelt es sehr früh. Leo öffnet müde die Tür. Eva steht draußen. Sie hat Brötchen und Orangensaft dabei. „Alles Gute zum Geburtstag!“, sagt sie. Leo schaut auf die Uhr. Es ist sechs Uhr morgens. Dann lachen beide. „Die Pizza gibt es heute Abend“, erklärt Leo.

Eva möchte wieder gehen, aber Leo holt zwei Teller. Sie frühstücken zusammen. Danach fährt Eva zur Arbeit. Am Abend kommt sie noch einmal. Diesmal sind auch die anderen Freunde da. Leo erzählt von seinem frühen Frühstück. Nun schreibt er seine Einladungen immer mit einer genauen Uhrzeit: achtzehn Uhr.
