You want to start a book club, but a friend worries about the time it will take. Practise responding to that concern and inviting a trial. The dialogue uses informal singular address between friends.
The idea
Build a persuasive turn around the objection: acknowledge it with Haklı olabilirsin ama… (You may be right, but…), then give a reason that addresses it. Çünkü introduces a reason; yerine offers an alternative. Bir düşün invites someone to consider the benefit, but its tone can be insistent. A small proposal such as Bir kez deneyelim makes the commitment clear; Ya … bulamazsak? raises a possible difficulty, and Olmazsa… introduces a fallback.
Read the text

Watch out
Do not hear Haklı olabilirsin as complete agreement or Bir kez deneyelim as a promise to keep attending. The first leaves room for a counterargument; the second accepts one trial only. Repeating Bir düşün after a clear refusal can sound pushy, even with lütfen.

Haklı olabilirsin
Haklı olabilirsin recognizes that weekly meetings may be difficult. The following monthly proposal answers the concern rather than dismissing it as mistaken.
Complete with the connector that introduces a reason: meeting online means no time spent travelling. Choose one of the two words.
Show answer or example answer
çünkü
çünkü: avoiding travel explains why an online meeting is useful. Ama would signal a contrast, which these two ideas do not express.
Suggest a shorter alternative to a long novel. Choose the word meaning “instead of”.

yerine
yerine: the short story replaces the long novel in the plan. Rağmen means “despite” and would not express that substitution here.

sınırlı kabul
sınırlı kabul: the speaker agrees to one attempt but explicitly withholds a weekly commitment. That is neither a total refusal nor an unconditional yes.
