You will conjugate the verb for walking in the present, negative, past and future, and say where or towards what you walk.
The idea
Yürümek has the stem yürü-, which ends in the vowel ü. The present -yor attaches directly (yürüyorum); the future needs a buffer y (yürüyeceğim). In the past and the negative present, harmony gives ü: the past is -dü (yürüdüm) and the negative -mü- (yürümüyorum). A place where you walk takes the locative (parkta yürümek), a place you walk to takes -e/-a (okula yürümek).

Watch out
Do not write yürüdim or yürüdum: the ü of the stem rounds the past ending, so it is yürüdüm, yürüdün, yürüdük. The negative is rounded too: yürümüyorum, not yürümiyorum.
