This original eight-week classroom plan practises planning language at A2; it is not an official TYS programme or a promise of exam readiness. The official FAQ lists B2 and C1 certificates. The sources link to that FAQ and the official sample materials.

The idea

Give each study block a task, a duration and a separate correction slot. Include reading, listening, writing and speaking every week; the table gives each week an extra focus. Use yirmi dakika for a duration and salı günü for a day. All times below are classroom choices, not exam time limits.

Patterns to compare
WeekExtra focus in this sample plan
1Try one short task in each skill; note the time taken and one difficulty.
2Read short notices; underline the words that support each answer.
3Listen to a short recording; note the main idea, then check details.
4Write a short message; check the requested information and rewrite it.
5Speak for one minute about a familiar topic, then answer a partner’s questions.
6Set a 15-minute practice block; correct the work in a separate session.
7Try new tasks of similar difficulty; compare errors and times with week one.
8Revisit recurring errors and read the current official exam instructions.

Examples

  • Bu hafta kısa metinler okuyacağım.This week I will read short texts.
  • Yarın on dakika konuşacağım.Tomorrow I will speak for ten minutes.
  • Salı günü yanlışlarımı düzelteceğim.On Tuesday I will correct my mistakes.
  • Her çalışmadan sonra süreyi defterime yazıyorum. After each study session I write the time taken in my notebook.
  • Aynı sorular yerine yeni sorular çözeceğim.I will do new questions instead of the same questions.
  • Son hafta eski notlarıma tekrar bakacağım.In the last week I will look at my old notes again.

Read-aloud uses a synthetic Turkish voice available on your device. Voice quality and availability vary; it does not assess your pronunciation.

Watch out

Repeating familiar questions faster can mean that you remember the answers. After correcting a mistake, try a fresh question of similar difficulty. Record both the time and the reason for the error; speed alone does not show exam readiness.

Try it yourself

  1. Her gün yirmi dakika çalışacağım. Ne kadar süre? ___ Read the Turkish plan. How long will the study session last? Answer in Turkish.

    Show answer or example answer

    yirmi dakika

yirmi dakika answers “for how long”; her gün tells us how often, so it does not answer this question.

  2. Pazartesi alıştırma, salı yanlışları düzeltme. Düzeltme hangi gün? ___ Read the two-day plan. Which day is for correction? Answer in Turkish.

    Show answer or example answer

    salı

salı: the plan puts the exercise on Monday and correction on Tuesday. The question asks for the correction day.

  3. Her gün aynı soruları çözüyorum. Cevapları artık biliyorum. Yeni sorular mı, aynı sorular mı? ___ The answers are familiar now. Choose new questions or the same questions, in Turkish.

    Show answer or example answer

    yeni sorular

yeni sorular: the learner already remembers the old answers. New questions can show whether the learner can apply the same knowledge.

  4. Önce soruları çözeceğim, sonra cevapları kontrol edeceğim. Önce ne yapacağım? ___ Read the sequence. What will happen first? Copy the Turkish action.

    Show answer or example answer

    soruları çözeceğim

soruları çözeceğim: this action follows önce. Checking answers comes after sonra, so it is the second step.

Use it today

Write a plan for week six in Turkish: name the day, the task and its duration, then reserve another slot for correction. Use the future tense as in the examples. No audio is attached here; the official sample page links to listening recordings.
