Use süpürmek to describe a cleaning routine, a finished chore or tomorrow’s plan. The tool can be a broom or a vacuum cleaner; naming it makes the action clear.
The idea
The stem süpür- stays intact: süpürüyorum, süpürdüm, süpüreceğim, süpürürüm. The negative present is süpürmüyorum. A specific surface is a direct object: koridoru süpürmek means to sweep the corridor. With elektrikli süpürgeyle, the same verb describes vacuuming. The table uses plural endings with onlar; singular verb forms are also possible with an explicit plural subject.

Watch out
Do not confuse the surface with the location: mutfağı süpürüyorum names what you sweep; mutfakta süpürüyorum only says where. Wiping with a cloth is silmek, so yeri süpürdüm does not say that you wiped or mopped it.
