Use としても to grant a hypothetical premise before stating a consequence that holds despite it.

The idea

Attach としても to a plain clause: 行く, 行かない, 高い, 静かだ or 学生だ. Past forms such as 終わった can describe an assumed completed event.

Watch out

The premise need not be true. Unlike a simple condition, this form highlights that the second statement holds even under that assumption. Keep だ after affirmative nouns and な-adjectives.
