Değişim names a change or a process of transformation. You will describe a team adapting to change and a neighbourhood changing over time, choosing endings for the role of the noun.
The idea
The stem stays değişim: değişimi, değişime, değişimde, değişimden. There is no consonant softening. Use değişimler for distinct changes. Possession adds another ending: değişimim is my change, değişimimiz our change. In mahallenin değişimi, the neighbourhood is what undergoes the change; when this whole phrase is an object, it becomes mahallenin değişimini.

Watch out
The last m in değişim is part of the stem, not a possessive ending: “my change” needs değişimim. Also distinguish the noun from değiştim, “I changed”; a noun alone does not state a past action.
