Postane means a post office. Use it to name a destination, say where someone is waiting, or describe your local branch. The possessive in postanemiz can mean the post office we use; it need not mean we own it.
The idea
Keep the stem postane intact: its final e gives forms such as postaneler and postanede. Before the vowel endings for a destination and a specific object, insert y: postaneye, postaneyi. Compare postanenin kapısı (the post office’s door) with mahallemizin postanesi (our neighbourhood’s post office). The table brings together this noun’s forms; the related suffix lessons explain the wider patterns.

Watch out
In mahallemizin postanesinde, the post office is linked to the neighbourhood by -si. Keep that ending and add n before -de: postanesi → postanesinde. Bare postanede only says “at the post office” and does not complete this possessive phrase.

Show answer or example answer
postaneye
postaneye: gideceğiz names a journey, so the missing word gives its destination. The final e remains before the linking y and the ending -e.
Complete with “the post office”: We finally found ___ that we were looking for.
Show answer or example answer
postaneyi
postaneyi: aradığımız identifies the office we were looking for, and that office is the object of bulduk. This calls for the accusative, not the destination form postaneye.
Write the plural of postane (post office).
Show answer or example answer
postaneler
postaneler: the last vowel in postane is e, despite the earlier o and a. That is why the plural uses -ler; no number precedes the noun here.
Complete: One person is waiting at the village’s post office. Use postane.

postanesinde
postanesinde: köyün requires the possessed form postanesi. The person waits at that office, so add n and the location ending -de.
