A useful interview answer links a specific responsibility and result to the contribution you hope to make.
The idea
Use 担当しました for a completed responsibility and 〜ていました for work you regularly did. その結果 introduces the outcome; 前年より compares it with the previous year. 経験を生かして connects experience to a future contribution.
Examples
In my previous job, I worked in sales for three years.
I mainly proposed products to business clients.
I developed a new sales approach with my team.
As a result, sales increased compared with the previous year.
I would like to use this experience to contribute to your company too.
I make a point of listening carefully to others.

Watch out
Do not claim a team result as yours alone. Say チームで when others contributed, and use 御社 for the company you are speaking to.
