Arrange a convenient time for a parcel and tell the delivery service when you will be home.
The idea
Use から for the start of a range and までに for its deadline: 二時から四時までに asks for delivery between two and four. 届けてもらえますか is a polite request for someone to deliver.
Examples
- 荷物を明日の午後に届けてもらえますか。Could you deliver the parcel tomorrow afternoon?
- 午後二時から四時までにお願いします。Please deliver it between two and four in the afternoon.
- その時間は家にいます。I’ll be at home during that time.
- 午前中は留守にしています。I’ll be out during the morning.
- 別の日に再配達をお願いできますか。Could I request redelivery on another day?
- 配達の前に電話してください。Please call before delivery.
Read-aloud uses a synthetic Japanese voice available on your device. Voice quality and availability vary; it does not assess your pronunciation.
No Japanese device voice is available. You can still read the text and use the linked listening resources.
Watch out
までに means by the end of the period; it does not promise an exact arrival time. Check the available slots with the carrier.
