Use 知らせる to pass information to someone, from a change of plans to an exam date.

The idea

知らせる is an ichidan verb meaning “inform” or “let someone know.” Mark the recipient with に and the information with を; a whole fact can be followed by ことを. Drop る before ます or て.

Watch out
