A useful correction request names the mismatch and explains why it matters before asking for a specific change.

The idea

Use ので after a plain-form cause: 古いファイルを使ったので explains why the total is wrong. このまま…すると sets out a consequence, and かもしれません marks it as a possibility. 直していただけますか is a polite request.

Watch out

Do not present a possible misunderstanding as a certainty. Identify the affected figures and the desired replacement rather than simply saying the work is wrong.
