Selin wants to make space for her books and calls a shop, but someone else answers. Read this original story first for the outcome, then trace the decisions that lead to it.
The idea
Follow the change of purpose across the story: the intended sale, the invitation and the final message. The phrase satmak yerine means “instead of selling”; it marks a different action, not a second stage of the sale. Use the books she takes home and her final request to explain the outcome.

Watch out
Do not turn a possible result into a completed event. In Kitapları satarsa biraz para kazanabilirdi, earning money is only a possibility. The later exchange tells you what she actually did; the final message expresses a wish to help, not proof that she has already helped.

rakamını
rakamını: she compares the last digit on the paper with the number she entered and notices her mistake. The text identifies an input error, not a change in the shop’s number.

bahçesinde
bahçesinde: the invitation names the old school’s garden, and the next paragraph places the tables there. The call reaches a home, but the event is held elsewhere.

değiştirdi / kitaplarını değiştirdi
değiştirdi: she leaves three novels and returns with two books. The story explicitly says she exchanged them; it never reports a payment for her books.
What does Selin want to do in her final message? Choose yardım etmek or kitap satmak.
Show answer or example answer
yardım etmek
yardım etmek: her last message asks whether she can help at the next gathering. Keeping the number therefore suggests she wants to stay involved, not simply correct the failed call.
