The idea
Choose the action by what happens to the file: dosya indirmek brings it from the internet to your device; siteye dosya yüklemek sends it to a website. Dosyayı kaydetmek means saving the file, while uygulamayı güncellemek means updating the app. Learn these as useful word combinations.

Watch out
Do not give yüklemek just one meaning: siteye fotoğraf yüklemek is uploading, but telefona uygulama yüklemek can mean installing. Kurmak also expresses installation. Downloading an app and installing it are different actions, even when a device does both automatically.
