At a community meeting, take the floor politely, offer an idea and help settle the next step.
The idea
意見を言ってもいいですか asks permission to speak. 〜たらどうでしょうか presents a suggestion as a question; 〜と思います marks a personal view. 〜について asks about a specific topic.
Examples

- 賛成ですが、費用が心配です。I agree, but I am concerned about the cost.
- 費用について話し合ってもいいですか。Could we discuss the cost?
- 次の会議までに費用を確認します。I will check the cost by the next meeting.

Watch out
A suggestion is not a decision. Check others’ views before treating it as an agreement, and use ですが to introduce a concern gently.
