Speak with school staff about a concern and work towards a next step.

The idea

〜のですが introduces a concern gently and leaves room for a response. 様子 asks about the situation; 見ていただけますか politely requests observation, while 話し合えますか proposes a discussion.

Examples

I would like to discuss something about my child.
Recently there have been days when my child does not want to go to school.
At home, my child will not tell me why.
How are things at school?
Could you observe how my child is doing in class?
Could we talk again next week?

Watch out

Do not present an unknown reason as a fact. Say what you have noticed and ask what the school has observed.
