Use からといって to acknowledge a fact while rejecting a conclusion or action based on that fact alone.

The idea

Attach からといって to a plain clause: 高い, 住んでいる, 便利だ or 学生だ. The following clause often uses とは限らない or わけではない to reject an automatic conclusion; it can also prohibit an unwarranted action.

Watch out

Ordinary から gives a reason; からといって questions what follows from it. It does not deny the first fact, and does not mean the conclusion is always false.
