A useful announcement lets readers decide whether and how to attend a reading event.
The idea
Name the event and venue with で開催します. Give the date and hours with から and まで, explain the activity and fee, then use までに for the registration deadline. Close with a welcoming ご参加ください.
Examples
- 公民館で、読書会を開催します。We will hold a reading event at the community center.
- 日時は、６月１５日（土）の午後２時から４時までです。It will be on Saturday, June 15, from 2 to 4 p.m.
- 参加者は、好きな本を紹介します。Participants will introduce their favorite books.
- 参加費は無料です。Participation is free.
- ６月１０日までに、メールでお申し込みください。Please apply by email by June 10.
- ぜひ、お気軽にご参加ください。Please feel free to join us.

Watch out
Do not confuse まで, the endpoint of an ongoing event, with までに, the deadline for completing an action. Give a year and contact address in a real notice; the example omits them.
