A repair call needs more than “it is broken”. Name the appliance or fitting, describe what you can observe, and arrange a time. The dialogue also shows how to ask a landlord to call a repairer.
The idea
Build the report in three steps: item and symptom, starting time, then a request. Bozuldu reports a breakdown; çalışmıyor says something is not working now; damlıyor describes dripping. Use dünden beri for a problem continuing since yesterday. Ask Yarın öğleden sonra gelebilir misiniz? and confirm a proposed time with Üç benim için uygun.

Watch out
Buzdolabı bozuldu means the fridge broke down. Buzdolabını bozdum means I broke the fridge: the speaker caused the damage. If you only know that it no longer works, describe that observation; do not change it into a claim about who caused it.
Try it yourself
Buzdolabı dün ___. Choose bozuldu or bozdum: the fridge broke down; you are not saying you caused it.
Show answer or example answer
bozuldu
bozuldu: the fridge is the subject and the sentence reports what happened to it. Bozdum would make the speaker the person who broke something.
___ su akıtıyor. Choose dün or dünden beri: the leak started yesterday and is still happening.
Show answer or example answer
dünden beri
dünden beri: the leak continues into the present. Dün alone places an event yesterday but does not express “since yesterday”.
Yarın öğleden sonra ___? Use gelmek in a polite ability question with siz: could you come?
Show answer or example answer
gelebilir misiniz
gelebilir misiniz: the request asks whether the repairer can come. The polite person ending belongs to the separate question word misiniz.
Saat üç benim için ___. Accept the proposed appointment: three works for you.
Show answer or example answer
uygun / olur
uygun or olur: both accept three o’clock here. With benim için, the sentence confirms your availability rather than assigning the repairer a time.

In pairs, write a six-turn repair call. Include the item, an observable symptom, when it began, a request to visit, a proposed time and a confirmation. Then change the item and repeat.
