You will speak as a passenger in a taxi or a dolmuş, a shared minibus or taxi. Call Taksi! to attract attention, then ask Müsait misiniz? (Are you available?). The examples also give two short driver replies for a role-play.
The idea
In a taxi, Otogara gider misiniz? politely asks the driver to go to the bus station. In a shared ride, Merkeze gidiyor musunuz? checks whether the driver is going to the centre. Ask Bir kişi ne kadar? for the fare for one person. To get off, Müsait bir yerde inebilir miyim? asks for a suitable place; it does not name an exact stop.
Examples
- Bu dolmuş nereye gidiyor?Where is this shared minibus going?
- Lütfen otogara gider misiniz?Could you go to the bus station, please?
- Ben köşede inmek istiyorum.I would like to get off at the corner.
- Taksi! Müsait misiniz?Taxi! Are you available?
- Merkeze gidiyor musunuz? Are you going to the centre?
- Bir kişi ne kadar? How much for one person?
- Müsait bir yerde inebilir miyim?Could I get off somewhere suitable?
- Burada durabilir misiniz?Could you stop here?
- Evet, merkeze gidiyorum.Yes, I am going to the centre.
- Tabii, ileride duruyorum.Of course, I am stopping up ahead.

No Turkish device voice is available. You can still read the text.
Watch out
İnebilir miyim? means “Can I get off?” Changing it to İnebilir misiniz? asks the other person to get off. If you want the driver to stop, use Burada durabilir misiniz? Here the driver does the stopping, while you do the getting off.

Work in pairs. First act out a taxi ride to the bus station. Then check a shared minibus’s destination, ask the fare for one person and request a place to get off. Swap passenger and driver roles; use the final two examples as replies.
